Job Description: Customer Quality Engineer
Role Overview
As a Customer Quality Engineer, you will support a vast product portfolio, ensuring that Discrete, Analog, and Mixed-Signal products meet the rigorous reliability standards.
You will manage the quality lifecycle for products including MOSFETs, TVS protection devices, Rectifiers, and Power Management ICs.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Quality Engineer
- Customer Liaison: Manage the quality relationship for key accounts, leading technical discussions regarding product performance and quality expectations.
- 8D Leadership: Lead the cross-functional investigation of customer returns (RMAs). Coordinate with Failure Analysis (FA) labs to perform decapsulation, cross-sectioning, and EMMI to identify root causes in Discrete and Power IC architectures.
- Zero-Defect Mindset: Drive "Zero-Defect" initiatives for Automotive-Compliant (Q-suffix) parts, ensuring compliance with AEC-Q100 (Analog) and AEC-Q101 (Discrete) standards.
- PCN Strategy: Manage Product/Process Change Notifications (PCN) in accordance with JEDEC standards, ensuring seamless transitions for customer manufacturing lines.
Quality Assurance & Manufacturing Support
- Portfolio Oversight: Drive quality improvements across a diverse range of power products, including SBR® (Super Barrier Rectifiers), MOSFETs, Hall Effect Sensors, and Analog PMICs.
- internal and external audits for IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in Semiconductor Quality, with a specific background in Discrete and Power products.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of semiconductor physics related to Diodes, Transistors, and Power MOSFETs.
- Problem Solving: Proficiency in structured problem-solving methodologies (5-Why, Fishbone, 8D).
